Andrew Ross is a Law Clerk in the London office of Herbert Smith Freehills LLP where he focuses his practice on US finance matters, specialising in leverage and acquisition finance.
Andrew joined Herbert Smith Freehills in 2023. Based in London, he advises on a broad range of cross-border debt and structured financing transactions. Prior to joining HSF, Andrew practiced in the London Banking and Capital Markets team of a leading US law firm in London, with a focus on High Yield Bonds. He has been involved with a variety of industries including gambling and gaming, sustainable packaging, and retail.
Andrew is seeking admittance to the State Bar of Texas and the New York State Bar. He is a graduate of Duke University School of Law (LL.M., 2020) and he is currently on the Duke UK Board of Volunteers as the law representative. Andrew also graduated from Keele University (LL.B., 2017) where he was Vice President of the Keele Law Society. Prior to returning to the United Kingdom, Andrew spent time working with the Wilson Center for Science and Justice, and the Duke Law Center for Criminal Justice and Professional Responsibility. He was also Harvard Law Professor Guy-Uriel Charles' research assistant.
