Advising in patent infringement proceedings brought in the Patents Court against it in relation to its Harmony non-invasive prenatal test

Advising and defending before the Supreme Court against a multi-million pound claim by a former employee, for compensation in respect of inventions made during the course of his employment

Gilead

Advising on the enforcement and defence of SPCs that protects Gilead's HIV medicines in Europe, in the trial in the Patents Court from which the judge made the preliminary reference to the CJEU on the law applicable to SPCs

Virgin/Flybe

Advising Virgin Atlantic on the acquisition of airline Flybe  by a consortia, including the licensing of the relevant rights required to enable the 'Flybe' airline to operate under the 'Virgin' brand; as well as rebranding requirements of the existing fleet
