Our diversity networks

Our diversity networks and committees are a key way of engaging our people in our diversity and inclusion programmes and delivering our objectives. They assist in the development of programmes that support our global strategy. The networks are led by people from practice groups and business services, with assistance and oversight from the Diversity and Inclusion Team.

Our networks vary across the cities and regions, and include:

Our ability network supports our employees with a disability, as well as those caring for someone with a disability. Nicole Bamforth, our COO, and Richard King, Chief Legal Operations Officer, are the Executive Sponsors of the network.

Our family network aims to address issues affecting parents, grandparents, guardians, carers of children and others with caring needs.

Our global IRIS (Inclusion, Respecting Identity and Sexuality) network connects and engages LGBT* and Ally colleagues across the world. Justin D’Agostino, Global Head of Dispute Resolution and Regional Managing Partner, Asia, is the Executive Sponsor of the network.

We are signatories to the UN Standards of Conduct for LGBTI Inclusion.

Our flexibility networks support those working flexibly and encourage policies to promote and support agile working.

Gender Equity

We have a range of networks in different offices focused on gender equity including our GEM Network (Gender Equity Matters), Women in Business, Women Lawyers, Women in Business Services and Women Trainee Lawyers.

Our multiculturalism network is focussed on the firm’s commitment to developing our cultural intelligence, improving our understanding of diverse ethnicities, religions, faiths and national cultures; as well as the representation of these groups in the demographic of the firm. The partner sponsors of our Multicultural Networks are Jinny Chaimungkalanont, Hew Kian Heong, Dinesh Banani and Peter Frost.
