Leading global law firm Herbert Smith Freehills has hired senior associate Amanda Teoh to join its Singapore asset finance team.

Amanda's hire is the latest investment in the firm's global asset finance offering following the hire of partners Rex Rosales and Jahnavi Ramachandran in London, and Siva Subramaniam and Samuel Kolehmainen in Singapore in August 2018. The lateral hires were part of the firm's strategic expansion plans and also complemented the existing global asset finance practice with their experience in the aviation finance sector.

"Amanda's appointment demonstrates the firm's ongoing investment in its aviation practice and its commitment to this sector and region, and we are delighted to have her on board," said Siva.

"Amanda is a very talented lawyer and she brings with her a wealth of knowledge of the Asian aviation sector that will complement our existing teams' expertise in the region," said Samuel.
