Herbert Smith Freehills scores a hat trick of infrastructure awards

Global law firm Herbert Smith Freehills has scored a hat-trick of infrastructure industry awards in the past few weeks: 

  • Infrastructure Investor - Global Law Firm of the Year 2017
  • Legal 500 UK - Projects, Energy and Natural Resources Firm of the Year 2018
  • ROSINFRA - Best PPP Law Firm 2017

Winning these three awards recognises another stellar year for the firm's global infrastructure team. During the past year, Herbert Smith Freehills has been the lead adviser on many of the largest and most complex infrastructure projects and transactions such as the Kuala Lumpur–Singapore High Speed Railway, HS2, Thames Tideway Tunnel, Hinkley Point C, Moscow Central Ring Road, Melbourne Metro, the sale of DIF II fund and Rv3/Rv25 in Norway.

The award follows a vote of the readers of Infrastructure Investor (Infrastructure Investor has over 48,000 readers globally and its annual Berlin Summit is one of the largest infrastructure gatherings in the world, attracting over 1,500 senior infrastructure professionals).

Legal 500 UK - Projects, Energy and Natural Resources Firm of the Year 2018

Legal 500 conducted 70,000 interviews with in-house counsel, law firms and sets in the UK to pin-point the most capable, expert practitioners and firms operating at the top of their game across a number of different business sectors. 

Russian National Infrastructure Awards (ROSINFRA) - Best PPP Law Firm 2017

The award is based on feedback from the professional infrastructure community and our clients. The ROSINFRA infrastructure awards bring together key market players such as investors, governmental authorities, financial bodies and consulting firms. The awards recognise the best infrastructure projects and advisory teams in different sectors, including transport, social, utilities, energy and telecommunications.
