Herbert Smith Freehills Paris has advised CNIM Group on its sale of its interest in SELCHP, a 35MW waste-to-energy plant located just outside of London
The transaction consisted of an indirect divestment by CNIM Development, a 50-50 JV between CNIM and Cube Infrastructure Fund, to iCON Infrastructure Fund, which has acquired CNIM Development’s entire stake in SELCHP, representing 48.75 % of its share capital.
As part of the transaction, iCON Infrastructure also purchased Cube Infrastructure's participating interest in the CNIM Development JV, which has retained an interest in other significant waste-to-energy facilities across the UK.
Herbert Smith Freehills advised CNIM with a team led in Paris by Rebecca Major, partner, assisted by Sharif Abousaada, senior associate and Firas Albani, associate.
