Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF) has cemented its position as the legal sector’s top employer of choice after being named the number one law grad employer in GradAustralia’s Top 100 Graduate Employers list for 2023. The firm also ranked the 15th best Australian graduate employer across all sectors.
The Top 100 Graduate Employers list recognises both the popularity and quality of each employer and their graduate program. GradAustralia combines data from applications and graduate reviews to determine an objective and comprehensive ranking of graduate preferences.

The rankings were based on feedback from over 3,000 graduates, the rankings consider factors like training and development, quality of work, career progression, mentoring and networking, and company culture.
Further highlighting the firm’s status as an employer of choice, it was also recently named the top attraction firm in the 2022-23 Lawyers Weekly Top 25 Attraction Firms, based on the results of its recent Legal Firm of Choice reader survey.
