Leading law firm Herbert Smith Freehills has advised a value-added fund managed by Tikehau Capital, the alternative asset management and investment group, on its acquisition carried out in collaboration with Le Groupe de l’Hôtellerie, the hotel management, investment and development specialist, of two hotels in central Paris.

The Hotel Corona Opéra and the Hotel Touraine Opéra are both three star hotels located in the 9th district of Paris, with a combined capacity of 97 rooms. 

This investment confirms Tikehau Capital's interest in the hospitality sector.

Herbert Smith Freehills advised Tikehau Capital with a team consisting of partner David Lacaze, of counsel Isabelle Augais and associates Marianne Sajus and Dounia El Hassar on transactional aspects; partner Bruno Knadjian for tax matters; and Sophie Brézin regarding employment law.
