Herbert Smith Freehills has recently advised Orange on the sale of FIME, a world leader in certification consultancy and testing for secure transactions, to Chequers Capital.

FIME has seven locations globally (Canada, Europe, USA, India, Korea, Taiwan and Japan) and around 400 employees.

The Herbert Smith Freehills team was led by Paris Corporate partner, Frédéric Bouvet, assisted by Magali Fernandes (of counsel) and Noémie Laurin on corporate issues, Céline Bey (of counsel) and Jean-Baptiste Thomas-Sertillanges on IP matters and Eric Fiszelson (partner) on the finance aspects of the deal.
