International law firm Herbert Smith Freehills LLP is delighted to announce that Elizabeth Head, senior associate in the firm's corporate crime and investigations team in London, has been selected as one of the 100 investigations specialists around the world in Global Investigations Review's 'Women in Investigations' Survey.

GIR's Women in Investigations survey profiles 100 female investigations specialists, including private practice and in-house lawyers, government enforcers and forensic accountants.  Elizabeth was one of only 11 associates identified by this global review.

Elizabeth advises clients across industries in relation to fraud, corruption and money laundering and related issues. She acts on complex national and international investigations and compliance matters, and has a particular specialism in relation to UK and EU sanctions, particularly those affecting Russia, Iran, Syria and Libya.

The women were chosen following an open nomination process where GIR readers were encouraged to present up to three names along with compelling reasons for why those individuals deserved to be featured. The full list is on GIR's website.

GIR is a leading law and policy journal for investigations professionals including private practice lawyers, corporate counsel, forensic experts and risk advisory consultants.
