Marine is a lawyer in our technology, media and telecommunications team. Marine advises a broad range of clients across industries on various aspects of technology and general commercial matters, including privacy and data security, technology licensing and sourcing, corporate deals and regulatory compliance.
Marine is also a member of our firm’s Digital Law Group.
Marine’s recent experience includes:
- advising a major bank on the separation of a core business unit, particularly regarding the structuring and negotiation of arrangements for transitional service provision and establishment of standalone operations for the separated business unit
- 6 month secondment at NBN Co (Regional Development and Environment team), supporting the construction, operations and maintenance of nbn’s network
- advising a number on clients on Australian privacy and data protection requirements including government privacy regimes, credit reporting, direct marketing and surveillance
- supporting the development of smart legal contracts through the Australian National Blockchain
Background
Admitted in France and Australia with a LLM from McGill University (Canada), Marine worked as a lawyer in Europe before joining HSF.
