Herbert Smith Freehills achieved Band 1 rankings across a wide range of practice areas including Corporate/M&A, Equity Capital Markets, Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property, Financial Services Regulation, Real Estate, Property Finance, and Energy and Natural Resources.

Chambers and Partners is an independent research company operating across 200 jurisdictions delivering detailed rankings and insight into the world's leading lawyers. Its rankings are based on assessments of technical legal ability, client service (comprising of speed, responsiveness, clear business language and decisive opinions), the depth of the team, commercial vision and business understanding, diligence and value for money.

Herbert Smith Freehills Executive Partner, Australia and Asia, Andrew Pike, said, “The firm’s continued success is recognition of our clear focus on doing the best work for the best clients, and in attracting and developing the best talent to do that work.

“Over the last 30 years, we’ve taken a multi-generational focus that ensures that we are the strategic partner to the key corporates in Australia and put a real emphasis on those elements of client service that we know have stood the test of time.

“I’d like to take the opportunity to thank our people for their efforts and our clients. We’re grateful to have had the opportunity to work alongside our clients on their most important transactions throughout 2021.”
