The Alumni and Multiculturalism Networks were delighted to host a Q&A virtual event with Sanjay Bhandari, alumnus and Chair of football's equality and inclusion organisation Kick It Out, and our Herbert Smith Freehills co-hosts Nigel Farr (Partner) and Lorraine Gibson (Business Development Director). 

Watch the recording to hear about Sanjay's role at Kick It Out, their new strategy, and his views on the wider diversity and inclusion challenges bringing about opportunities for change.

Sanjay Bhandari
An active and recognised leader of equality, diversity and inclusion practice, Sanjay was a member of the Premier League's Equality Standard Independent Panel for four years and is part of the Government-sponsored Parker Review into the ethnic diversity of UK boards. 

Sanjay also enjoyed a 29-year career in professional services, spending 15 years as a lawyer specialising in fraud and white collar crime at leading international law firms, including 11 years at HSF.  He then held a number of leadership roles at KPMG and EY, where he was a Partner for 12 years, before taking up a portfolio career as an independent board member, adviser and charity trustee.
