Acting in relation to patent infringement proceedings in the Federal Court of Australia brought against Gilead by ViiV Healthcare Company and Shionogi who claim that a component of Biktarvy, the integrase inhibitor bictegravir, infringes their Australian patent covering compounds that have HIV integrase inhibitory activity

Virgin/Flybe

Advising Virgin Atlantic on the acquisition of airline Flybe  by a consortia, including the licensing of the relevant rights required to enable the 'Flybe' airline to operate under the 'Virgin' brand; as well as rebranding requirements of the existing fleet

Genus plc

Advising on its collaboration/joint venture with a Chinese entity to develop and commercialise, in the PRC, gene-edited pigs, which centred on the licensing of critical IP rights and know-how
