Advising on the acquisition of two large pan-European portfolios across France, Germany, UK, Netherlands, Austria Finland and Luxemburg

Cording Real Estate

Advising on the acquisition of a real estate portfolio comprising ten commercial properties by way of a combined share and asset deal including the establishment of a joint venture and the financing of the transaction

Barakaldo Shopping Centre

Advising on the sale of Barakaldo Shopping Centre, Bilbao, Spain (for an amount of €170 million). We acted for the seller Oaktree, and the purchaser was Lar Socimi (a Spanish REIT)


Advising on all real estate aspects of its joint venture PSP Investments and QuadReal to form the "Cherry Park Partnership". The Partnership will deliver a £670 million Private Rented Sector (PRS) residential scheme


Advising on the acquisition of the student accommodation portfolios of Urbanest and Atira, valued at A$2 billion and A$670 million respectively.

Merry Hill Shopping Centre

Acting as international counsel for the QIC International Property on the A$795 million sale of its 50% economic interest in UK shopping centre, Merry Hill. We advised on all aspects of the disposal, including vendor due diligence and operation of the online data room, negotiation of the transaction documents and co-ordination of other advisers and officers in various offshore jurisdictions
