The ability of law firms to connect with boards on strategic advice is paramount and Ruth epitomises this skill set. The extensive policy and governance expertise that she has garnered working across private practice, in-house counsel and at a regulator, together with the universal respect she enjoys in the industry, make her an invaluable addition to our team and a huge asset to our clients.”

Ruth commented: “I am delighted to have joined the Herbert Smith Freehills team. I have long respected the firm and its innovative approach to its financial services practice.

“The team covers all facets of the industry, from banking and insurance to superannuation and financial planning, with the scale and depth to advise on transactions, regulatory interactions, remediation programs and everything in between.”
