His experience includes:
acting on a range of public company transactions, including the demerger of South32 by BHP Billiton, Hastings Diversified Utilities Fund’s response to the hostile takeover bid by APA and the acquisition by AMP of AXA Australia Pacific and the split of its Australian and Asian operations
advising on a range of infrastructure transactions, including IFM/Australian Super’s acquisition of 50.4% of the Ausgrid electricity distribution business
working on various private M&A transactions, including the sale by NAB of an 80% interest in the MLC life insurance business
Baden has a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Melbourne.
