Ben Cook, lead editor of the 2022 Legal Power List, said: “As the wind industry has continued its rapid expansion, so the legal expertise available to the sector has been significantly enhanced. This year’s Legal Power List demonstrates how the depth of wind industry know-how found among private practice lawyers in particular, has increased substantially. The result is that companies in the wind sector now have an array of top legal talent to choose from. As wind industry deals grow in size, there is likely to be a rise in demand for both in-house lawyers as well as private practice lawyers who are able to handle major deals.”
