Managing Partner, Digital and ALT Global
London

Libby leads our Alternative Legal Services business.

As Managing Partner, Libby leads the firm's global Alternative Legal Services (ALT) practice.

As the newest practice of the firm, ALT draws together legal expertise, process efficiency and technology solutions to deliver innovative services in respect of large-scale, document-intensive legal work.

Libby leads a multi-lingual, diverse and high-performing team across 10 global hubs. The team has a common strategic objective to deliver a seamless, end-to-end solution to the firm's clients – on both "event-led" and business-as-usual matters.

Libby was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the Queen's Birthday 2019 Honours List – recognising her services to the Northern Ireland Economy, as well as Innovation in Law.

In 2016, Libby was nominated in The Lawyer's 'Hot 100': a prestigious annual report highlighting the most influential and prominent lawyers in the industry, all of whom are notable for making a stand-out contribution to the shape of the legal industry today.

Libby originally joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in London in 1994. After several years of practice – primarily in large-scale commercial litigation – she moved into a legal practice management role in 2003, before becoming the first Director of the firm's Belfast office in 2011 (the first "ALT hub").

Background

Libby holds a first class degree in law from the University of Warwick.
