Experience
Nina is known for her expertise in regulatory, investigation and compliance matters, where she frequently advises clients on high stakes and highly sensitive cross border investigations and global risk and compliance programs. Nina represents clients in a range of sectors, including government, pharmaceuticals, consumer, TMT and financial services.
Nina recently completed a secondment with a US multinational pharmaceutical giant, where she was responsible for leading highly sensitive regulatory and internal investigations across the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining the Tokyo office of Herbert Smith Freehills, Nina practised as an associate at a global law firm in Sydney.
Nina is passionate about the intersection between law and business human rights and frequently assists clients with human rights due diligence, including compliance with modern slavery obligations and supply chain risk assessments.
In addition to her day-to-day legal work, Nina is involved in a range of diversity and inclusion initiatives and recently founded the HSF Tokyo GEM (Gender Equity Matters) Network.
Background
Nina holds a Juris Doctor from the University of New South Wales and Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Macquarie University, Sydney.
Nina is admitted to practise as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
