Leading international law firm Herbert Smith Freehills has advised Beechbrook Capital LLP on the exit of its mezzanine financing and equity investment in the Intelligent Repair Solutions (IRS) Group. Beechbrook Capital has accompanied and supported IRS Group's successful growth and business development over many years, including various add-on acquisitions in Germany, Denmark and Sweden.

IRS Group with headquarters in Rellingen, close to Hamburg, and more than 1,800 employees at over 100 locations, is a European market leader for smart auto body and varnish repair solutions and offers comprehensive services relating to the overhauling and reinstatement of all inner and outer parts of vehicles. IRS Group is a portfolio company of the Swiss investment group Ufenau Capital Partners. 

Established in 2008, Beechbrook Capital is a specialist fund manager providing debt, or debt and equity, capital to small and medium-sized private-equity backed businesses in the UK and northern Europe. Beechbrook Capital is currently investing two funds with distinct strategies and continues to seek opportunities to provide innovative and flexible finance to support corporate acquisition and expansion activities.
