We are delighted to announce the release of our English law legal privilege web app. Following on from the very positive feedback which we have received from clients over recent years on our Handy Client Guide to Privilege, our team has developed a digital version which makes the analysis quicker, easier and more convenient.

ACCESS THE APP HERE

Accessible both on your mobile and from your desktop, the app guides users through a short series of questions, using the answers to analyse whether a document is likely to be covered by legal advice privilege and/or litigation privilege under English law. Notes providing guidance and interpretation of relevant case law are accessible directly from the question screens, assisting the user in answering the questions without losing their place in the analysis. When all the relevant questions have been completed, an on-screen report provides a handy summary of the answers given and the likely privilege status of the document.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss with one of the team, please get in touch - [email protected]

See our animation below for more information on the app. You can also access the tool for yourself beneath the animation.

"This is a great example of digital transformation of our business in practice. We've built this app entirely in house on a no-code platform in a matter of weeks through Practice Group, Innovation and Legal Ops collaboration. I can't think of a busy in house-lawyer that won't find this useful." – Alexander Oddy, Partner

"Privilege is an area that sounds straightforward but in fact is quite the opposite. We developed our Handy Client Guide to Privilege, and now this app, as a quick and easy reference to help clients navigate the complexities in determining which documents are likely to be privileged – or not."Maura McIntosh, Professional Support Consultant
