COVID-19 – meetings and events with Herbert Smith Freehills

The health, safety and wellbeing of our people, clients and visitors to our offices is our utmost priority and to help safeguard this we have implemented the following protocol.

This applies to all planned meetings and events at Herbert Smith Freehills’ offices, or if you are planning to meet any of the firm’s people at another location.

Please observe the safe distancing and hygiene measures we have put in place to protect you, other visitors and our people. We also ask that you do not shake hands.

Please note that we keep a record of attendance for all meeting and events held at Herbert Smith Freehills and will use this data for contact tracing purposes if necessary. For detail on how we may collect and use information that we obtain about you, and your rights in relation to that information, please see our Privacy Policy.

We ask that you do not attend any such meetings or events if:

  •        You feel unwell, or have had a suspected or confirmed case of Covid-19 in the past 14 days; or
  •        You have been in contact with a person who is unwell, or who has a suspected or confirmed case of Covid – 19 in the past 14 days.

We are happy to discuss with you an alternative method of meeting.

If you experience the relevant symptoms after attending an event hosted by us or after having met with any of our people, please contact your Herbert Smith Freehills host so that we can manage communications with our own people and fellow attendees.

Meetings and events in Brisbane*, Melbourne and Sydney (Australia)

The health, safety and wellbeing of our people, clients and visitors to our offices is our upmost priority and to help safeguard this we have implemented the following protocol. This includes the requirement for all visitors to our offices or any meetings that we host, to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

This applies to all planned meetings and events at Herbert Smith Freehills’ offices and at events that we host elsewhere.

Please check in on arrival using the government check in app, and show this to our reception team, along with your vaccination evidence. Please keep 1.5 metres away from others wherever possible and avoid physical greetings such as handshaking.
